I LOVE Capone’s in Norristown, PA. Just a short ride out of center city Philly, Capone’s offers a VERY impressive tap list, which frankly beats most bars in center city. Here I am celebrating my new cast with a Shawneecraft Triple Pale Ale (9.3 % ABV) on nitro. It was a beautifully creamy pale ale with very little effervescent. Hoppy enough to please my craving for the afternoon, yet smooth enough for beginners to intermediate hopheads. Also, Capone’s has a better cheesesteak than your favorite. More on Shawneecraft later!
I’ve been meaning to get here for about 6 months, when I discovered them on BeerAdvocate. Their events are insane. Black Friday is already on the calendar this year.
