Next time I will consider cooking them in bacon grease to offset the lack of bacon in the dish, if only slightly.
Never had Ikea Swedish meatballs but any Swedish meatballs are a great choice if one is having a craving. The only question is……..what beer to pair with them? I think maybe a stout or porter.
Well I was also craving hops, especially after a long weekend of drinking Belgians at Ommegang’s Belgium Comes to Cooperstown. Junk food cravings and beer cravings often never pair well. Sierra Nevada Hoptimum washed dinner down just fine.
