Wow, tons of new Events hitting the area in the next month or so. Check it out:
Troy’s First Ever City-Wide Restaurant Week! – September 17 through the 23rd
They’re doing thing a little bit differently than some other Restaurant Weeks I’ve been to, with multiple price points to allow some of the bars and cheap eats establishments into the mix. From their Event page:
$30 and $20 price points = 3 course menu + tax and gratuity
$10 price point = any special menu (perhaps one item, or a combo) + tax and gratuity
60 Days till Dogfish Head Night at The Ruck – September 19th
Always nice to see what the mad scientist Nuzz has cooking in the Randalls.
Oktoberfest Beer Dinner at Albany Pump Station – September 24th
Pretty solid lineup. $50/person for Reception plus four German themed courses, including some wild game and four beers.
Troy’s Sixth Annual Chowderfest at Troy Riverfront Park –October 7th
I’ve never actually made it to Chowderfest. Always have something going on that gets in the way. Definitely going to try to make it this year.
Brown’s 5th Annual Oktoberfest – October 20th
Break out the North Face Jackets. German food, lager, and Pumpkin Ale all lined up for the tents out back.
Don’t forget about the rest of the great events already lined up on the Events Page like this week’s Wild Game Dinner at City Beer Hall, Oktoberfest at Uncle Marty’s, and this weekend’s Harvest Festival at Hill Farmstead!
