Couple weeks ago the guys Remarkable Liquids needed a hand running some beer out to Western New York. With a killer Dark Horse event happening that night at Blue Monk, I was more than happy to oblige.
Where the Wild Things Macerate Raspberries was my absolute favorite beer of the night. This isn’t something that leaves the brewery often and I can see why, I’d want to hoard all of it for myself…
We shared a few other things that day like Bourbon Barrel Plead the 5th, Bourbon Barrel Sarsaparilla 666, and Brandy Barrel 4 Elf. A lot of big barrel aged beers for the summer but it was nice and cool in Blue Monk’s beer garden.
Massie from Dark Horse was an absolute rip. Gotta get her and Brad out to the Capital Region for a Dark Horse event soon!
Of course we had to grab some delicious Blue Monk grub while we were there too. Duck confit ruben on the left (this absolutely killed), and burger on the right.
Sadly we had some more running around to do that night and I couldn’t spend the rest of my time hanging around. Thank you to the folks from Dark Horse, Blue Monk and Remarkable Liquids for a great time!
