Little better shaping this time, but the thinner pretzel ropes were not the easiest to work with and keep things all together looking pretty. Still, the end result isn’t too shabby and we’ll have it down pat by next time.
Little test run on pretzels Elise and Jill did last night for my father’s birthday, using Alton Brown’s recipe. Taste and texture was spot on, just gotta work on shaping them more into pretzels than rolls for tomorrow. Really wanted to make some beer mustard to go along with these but the mustard seed selection at our local grocery store is rather lacking and I was way too lazy venture outside my little bubble today.
